Clinical Specialties

Dr. James McCarthy has extensive clinical experience in a broad range of pediatric orthopedic conditions. His primary clinical and research focus is on the treatment of complex limb and spine deformities, such as scoliosis and pediatric hip disorders. Dr. McCarthy also has a strong interest in the treatment of children with neuromuscular disorders, such as cerebral palsy.


Research Interests

Dr. McCarthy’s primary research focus is on the treatment of pediatric hip disorders, complex limb and spine deformities (e.g., scoliosis), as well as gait analysis in children with neuromuscular disorders.
