Instrumentation Laboratory

The Instrumentation Laboratory is a support facility for all other research laboratories in the Department. It includes a well-equipped machine shop as well as instrumentation design and development capabilities. Most experiments at WORL rely on custom-made or adapted instrumentation to satisfy our unique experimental requirements.

A device designed and custom-built in this lab to insert intra-articular screws in cervical spines. Ron McCabe, an electrical engineer, is working on a circuit board designed to drive a set of stepper motors. A custom-built and designed device to produce an injury on a mouse MCL.
