Why I am a Physical Therapist, and Why I Teach Physical Therapy

I chose to be a PT because I wanted to be a player on the “improvement of quality of life” team. I love to educate people about their health and lifestyle. You only get one body, and you only get to be a certain age one time. I like to encourage people to live optimally.

I love teaching solely because of the students. They are inquisitive, bring wonderful life experiences to the table, and at this level of teaching the education is mutual. I learn as much from my students as I teach them! I had great mentors as a young PT and hope I am doing the same for others.
