Why I am a Physical Therapist, and Why I Teach Physical Therapy

I chose Physical Therapy because the profession allows me to continue to grow and develop in multiple areas. I enjoy the science behind what physical therapists do along with the caring and compassion exchanged when working with patients and clients.

Teaching has been an area that I have enjoyed for many years. Teaching is a dynamic process that is exciting and energizing. I hope the learners can realize that excitement and motivates them to learn.

Clinical Interests

My clinical interest lies in the older adult population. I have always enjoyed working this population along with their families and caregivers. I have worked with older adults in a variety of settings and have enjoyed each of these experiences for the knowledge I have gained from the patients and their families. Patients of this age group have wealth of information to share!
