Sue Wenker, PT, MS, GCS
Why I am a Physical Therapist, and Why I Teach Physical TherapyI chose Physical Therapy because the profession allows me to continue to grow and develop in multiple areas. I enjoy the science behind what physical therapists do along with the caring and compassion exchanged when working with patients and clients. Teaching has been an area that I have enjoyed for many years. For selfish reasons,
I enjoy teaching to learn from the students, but I also enjoy working with others
and sharing in the parts of their education when they really "get it."
Then students truly realize how all of their hard work has paid off. Education

Clinical InterestsMy clinical interest lies in the older adult population. I have always enjoyed working this population along with their families and caregivers. I have worked with older adults in a variety of settings and have enjoyed each of these experiences for the knowledge I have gained from the patients and their families. Patients of this age group have wealth of information to share! Professional Activities
