Student Life
Physical therapy students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison are
united by their passion for their chosen profession, their desire to
learn, and their commitment to serving the community. The experiences
you will have as a student in the Program are challenging and rewarding,
and will serve you well throughout your career.
Each physical therapy class is a cohesive unit whose shared experiences

- Participated in alternative spring breaks, learning about health
care in homeless and prison populations
- Established a physical therapy presence in the MEDiC clinic, a free
clinic for underserved communities
- Participated in the Pre-college Enrichment Opportunity Program for
Learning Excellence (PEOPLE), where students introduced the profession
of physical therapy to underpriveleged high school students
