As you begin the application process for the UW–Madison Physical Therapy Program, please follow these basic steps:
Selection CriteriaSelection of applicants for the UW-Madison Physical Therapy Program is competitive. Not all applicants that qualify will be admitted. Selection of applicants for the UW–Madison Physical Therapy Program is based upon: 1. The UW-Madison admission requirement of a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 (last 60 semester credits); and 2. Physical Therapy Program selection criteria of:
Academic Factors (follow Instructions for Academic Factors): Each of these factors are weighted 1/3 of the academic factors
Nonacademic Factors (follow Instructions for Nonacademic Factors):3.
Evidence of uniqueness of background, foreign language fluency and diversity of life experiences are highly valued and strongly encouraged to be included within the nonacademic factor documents.
