ACADEMIC PHYSIATRIST - PAIN MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

University of Wisconsin Medical School Assistant Professor

The Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation Medicine of the University of Wisconsin-Madison seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible Physiatrist to join the faculty of this major academic medical center. This physician will provide clinical care and teaching in an interdisciplinary outpatient pain treatment center drawing patients from throughout Wisconsin. Practice may include electrodiagnostics and office-based injections. Ample opportunities exist for research and practice specialization. Other duties will include instruction and supervision of Rehabilitation Medicine residents, medical students, and visiting trainees.

Qualified applicants should be board certified or board eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. A valid Wisconsin medical license is required before the start of employment. Fellowship training in Pain Medicine is desirable.
