Match Day 2004

MATCH DAY 2004/SENIOR CLASS FACULTY AWARDS SET FOR THURSDAY, MARCH 18

MADISON - UW Medical School Match Day, the annual event in which fourth-year medical students learn where they'll be spending their residencies, will take place Thursday, March 18 in Great Hall, at the UW Memorial Union.

This annual event is the primary route by which applicants to residency programs obtain training positions at U.S. teaching hospitals and is an event held simultaneously at the nation's medical schools.

The Match Day schedule is as follows:

10:30-11 a.m.: Presentation of Faculty and Staff Awards

11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.: Match Results and Announcement of Plans for Next Year

8 p.m.: Match Day Party, Luther's Blues, 1401 University Ave., Madison
